Vaccines can prevent serious illness and help people live longer, healthier lives. They teach your body how to build protection against diseases. Vaccines are well-tested and safe.
Children can get many vaccines from their doctor and some from a pharmacist. Older children and adults can get vaccines from their doctor or at a pharmacy. The Carroll County Health Department also offers many different types of vaccines and holds some vaccine clinics.
