WIC (Women, Infants, and Children)

WIC provides nutrition education, breastfeeding support, healthy supplemental foods and health and community referrals for pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children under age 5.​

The WIC foods provided are: cereal (hot and cold varieties), milk (dairy, soy, evaporated and powdered and lactose reduced/free), eggs, whole grains, bread, tortilla’s, pasta, eggs, beans, peanut butter, cheese, yogurt, fresh, frozen and canned fruits and vegetables, tofu and juice, and tuna fish for breastfeeding moms. Learn about the foods authorized for WIC on this S​tate WIC page.


Packages are customized per person. We serve women and children, including pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, as well as infants, toddlers, and children up to the age of 5.


We care about you and your family’s nutrition and health! We monitor weight, height and we also check your hemoglobin (iron) levels.​


Breastfeeding gives your baby the best start and Carroll County WIC is committed to helping families have positive, successful breastfeeding experiences.​
