Do I have to renew my license in 2026?
- If you are not sure, go to License Verification Page
- Put in your license # - find your original license year and due date for renewal
- Social Work licenses are renewed every two years on a odd/even cycle
Are there any new requirements for renewal?
- Yes, all health occupations license holders must attest to a one-time only completion of a Structural Racism course
- This is new addition to the prior Implicit Bias requirement per HB 782

- When you complete your online renewal application, you will check the box at the end of the application to attest to the one-time completion of the one-time only Structural Racism and Implicit Bias
How many CEUs do I need?
- 40 total credits for LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-C
- 30 total credits for LBSW
What required continuing education trainings are needed at renewal?
