School-required and/or Back to School Immunizations
The Maryland Department of Health and the Maryland State Department of Education require that school children receive certain immunizations to begin the school year in accordance with state regulations and to reduce the transmission of vaccine-preventable diseases in the school environment. A child may not be able to attend school until documentation of their immunizations has been received by the school.
The 2025-2026 back to school immunization requirements can be found here:

Maryland Vaccine Program
The Maryland Adult Vaccine Program is part of a new statewide initiative launched by Governor Wes Moore and the Maryland Department of Health to expand immunization access for uninsured and underinsured adults.
