The Queen Anne's County Health Department provides adult and childhood immunizations by appointment. Please call 410-758-0720 for more details.

​Vaccinations may include:

  • Pneumonia

  • Shingles

  • Meningitis

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis (whooping cough) formulations

  • Hepatitis A, B and combo

  • Polio

  • Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR)

  • Varicella (chicken pox)

  • Rotavirus

  • Haemophilus influenzae type B (HIB)

  • Human papillomavirus (HPV)

  • Human Rabies (specific circumstances required)

  • Influenza

    • ​​​​​​​​Seasonal influ​​enza is currently offered on a walk-in basis 8:30am-4pm Monday-Friday, excluding holidays or inclement weather closings.


​​Sc​​​​hool-require​d and/or Back to School Immunizations

The Maryland Department of Health and the Maryland State Department of Education require that school children receive certain immunizations to begin the school year in accordance with state regulations and to reduce the  transmission of vaccine-preventable diseases in the school environment. A child may not be able to attend school until documentation of their immunizations has been received by the school.

Maryland Vaccine Program

The Maryland Adult Vaccine Program is part of a new statewide initiative launched by Governor Wes Moore and the Maryland Department of Health to expand immunization access for uninsured and underinsured adults. The goal is to reduce barriers and help prevent the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases across Maryland. The program is supported by the Maryland Department of Health's Center for Immunization.


Who is eligible?
Uninsured and underinsured adults age 19 and older.

“Underinsured" means your health insurance does not cover recommended vaccines, or you have high deductibles creating a financial burden (specific circumstances required).


No Cost:

All vaccines provided through this program are free for eligible adults. You may be asked to confirm your insurance status, but no one will be turned away due to inability to pay.
