The Medical Assistance Transportation program provides non-emergency transportation to and from medically necessary covered services for Maryland Medicaid recipients who have no other means of transportation.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for this service, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a resident of Queen Anne’s County.
- Be an active Medical Assistance (Medicaid) recipient with qualifying coverage.
- Have no other means of transportation.
- Have a scheduled appointment for a covered medical service.
- Transportation is also available for recipients with full Medicaid coverage to MD Healthy Smiles Dental providers.
- All applicants must complete screening questions to determine final eligibility.
