Teenagers often have health needs and questions that are different from those of children and adults. If you are a teenager or an adult who wants to support a teen in their health journey, you can find information and resources for that here. It’s important to arm yourself with the best information you can to protect your health and the health of others, and the Maryland Family Planning Program is here to help!
If you are a teenager (ages 13-19) or a minor (under 18), you can access services at a Maryland Family Planning Program clinic. While we always encourage you to include parents or guardians in discussions about your health, Maryland law permits minors to access confidential reproductive health services with or without the knowledge of a parent or guardian. Services are free or affordable and you can also use your insurance, including Medicaid, at all of the clinic locations. Insurance is not required and no one is ever turned away based on ability to pay. You can use the clinic finder search tool below to find a clinic near you. Some services may even be available at your school!
