According to national estimates, manually retrieving vaccination records can cost around $14.50 per child, while maintaining a child's record in an IIS costs approximately $3.91 - a significant cost-saving for providers and the public health system. ImmuNet streamlines vaccination management, improves patient care, and helps meet public health goals - saving time, money and lives.
Most computers with high-speed internet are compatible with ImmuNet. It supports all modern browsers but Google Chrome is recommended for the best experience.
To access ImmuNet, authorized providers must enroll here. After enrollment is reviewed by the Maryland Department of Health, you will receive your login credentials. While you wait:
You're encouraged to use your state's IIS. Maryland is working on cross-state data sharing, which may allow you to access Maryland records through your state's system in the future.
Note: You must confirm your identity under penalty of perjury before submission.
Patients can access their vaccination records directly through the MyIR portal.
