VFC Education and Training

As stated in the VFC Provider Enrollment Agreement, Maryland VFC Providers are required to receive annual educational training. Completion of the 2026 educational training is REQUIRED for the following VFC Roles: 

  • Responsible Medical Provider;

  • VFC Vaccine Coordinator; 

  • Back-up VFC Coordinator(s); and

  • Any additional listed role, such as a Second Back-up VFC Coordinator, if listed.

It is recommended that all staff who interact with the VFC Program also complete the training.

The 2026 VFC educational training requirement can be met by completing the stand-alone online training or attending a live monthly webinar. VFC providers are not required to take both trainings.

All VFC Provider offices must fulfill their VFC educational training requirement by December 31, 2026, in order to be eligible for VFC provider re-enrollment in 2027.
