Find a Class
The National Diabetes Prevention Program is a year-long program for people to reduce their risk of developing diabetes. This evidence-based program is led by trained lifestyle coaches. People who take the classes learn to eat healthy and add physical activity into their daily lives. Classes meet weekly for the first 16 weeks, then less often for the rest of the year.
This evidence-based 10-hour program is for people with diagnosed type 1, type 2, or gestational diabetes. This class teaches people about their diabetes and how to manage it every day. Licensed or certified health professionals lead these programs, which are often covered by health insurance.
