Registration Renewal Reminder Notice

For Registrations Expiring March 31, 2025

Online Renewal Portal Opens February 6, 2025​​

RENEWAL FEES

Renewal Fees between February 6, 2025 and March 31, 2025:
Renewal—$250.00;   Inactive Status—$50.00

Late Renewal Fees between  April 1, 2025 and April 30, 2025:     
Renewal—$450.00;   Inactive Status—$250.00

 

CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Mandatory CEUs, Implicit Bias Training & CPR Certification Completed between April 1, 2023 and the date you renew your registration, but no later than April 30, 2025: 

  • 10 hours of CEUs in topics related to chiropractic; 
  • Implicit Bias training if this your first renewal, and
  • CPR certificate-Provider Level. ​

CEUs EXEMPTION NOTICE: Initial registrations issued on or after April 1, 2024 with an expiration date of March 31, 2025 are exempt from the CEU requirements. However, the CA must renew the registration, must possess a valid CPR certification at the Provider Level, and must complete the Implicit Bias training.

ADDRESS CHANGE:

If you moved within the last two years, immediately submit an Address Change Notification form to the Board.  Your registration will be mailed to the address in the Board's records. Click here to complete the form.

 

TAX LIENS AND/OR CHILD SUPPORT HOLDS

Must be resolved with either the MD Comptroller and/or The Division of Child Support Enforcement. The Board must be officially notified by those agencies of the clearance before a registration may be renewed and issued.

NEW: 2024 Chiropractic Board Member Vacancy  ​
The Chiropractic Board is seeking candidates to fill 1 Doctor of Chiropractic position.

Interested chiropractors are to immediately contact the Maryland Chiropractic Association to be vetted and included on the list of nominees. Candidates are to also submit an application through the Governor’s Appointments Office website at: http://govappointments.maryland.gov/instructions-for-filling-out-the-general-application-form

Reinstatement - JP Examination Requirement: Applicants must take and pass the Jurisprudence Examination to qualify for reinstatement. Contact the Board for guidance and total fees. See Law §3–310(a)(4)

Implicit Bias Training: All Chiropractors and Chiropractic Assistants are required to complete the implicit bias training at their first renewal after April 1, 2022. The list of approved courses may be accessed using this link: Approved Implicit Bias Training Courses.

Address Change: If you moved since your last renewal or receipt of your initial license, submit an address change form to the Board prior to renewing your license.  Your renewed license will be mailed to the address of record on file.  A $50.00 duplication fee plus a $200.00 failure to notify penalty will be imposed for reprinted Licenses due to an incorrect address of record.  See COMAR 10.43.01.05 (f) and  COMAR 10.43.06.02.(s)
