2025 Authorized Foods List Submission Period Now Open

The Maryland WIC Program is now open for submission to update the Authorized Foods List. The submission period ends April 4, 2025. It is being conducted via electronic submission only.

The URL for the Product Submission Site is https://submit.wicapl.org/ and all users must register for the site. If you previously accessed the Vendor UPC Upload site (https://up.wicapl.org/) you do not need to register again.

The following items require submission and approval to be included in the 2025 Authorized Foods List:

  • Breakfast Cereal
  • Juice – 64 ounce containers
  • Whole Wheat/Whole Grain Bread and Rolls
  • Soft Corn & Whole Wheat Tortillas
  • Whole Wheat/Whole Grain Pasta
  • Oats, Quinoa, Bulgur (cracked wheat), Cornmeal (including blue), & Buckwheat
  • Tofu
  • Dry Milk Whole and Nonfat Milk (cow)
  • Plant-Based Milk
  • Yogurt
  • Fish - Sardines, Pink Salmon, & Chunk Light Tuna

The following items will NOT require submission but are new this year to Maryland WIC:

  • Dried Fruits & Vegetables ***NEW***
  • Fresh Herbs ***NEW***​
