INFORMATION FOR PREGNANT
WOMEN, PARENTS, AND CAREGIVERS
Whether you’re a pregnant woman, a parent, or any other guardian of a young child, Maryland WIC is here to help your little one grow up healthy and strong. We provide healthy supplemental foods, referrals to other programs, and support for pregnant women, new mothers, and children under age five.
Over half of the infants born in the United States are on WIC. Click below for information on how to join our team.

INCREASED FRUIT AND VEGETABLE BENEFIT
Until September 2022, women and children ages 1-5 who are on WIC will receive increased fruits and vegetables.
USING YOUR WIC BENEFITS AT THE FARMERS' MARKET
It is now easier to use your WIC fruit and vegetable benefit at the farmers’ market! Use the Bnft mobile app or go to mybnft.com to sign up. Here, you can generate a barcode that you can use for 30 days. This barcode accesses your WIC benefits so you can use them at the farmers’ market. Keep printed barcodes in a safe place!
NEW AUTHORIZED FOODS LIST
Starting October 1, 2021, the Maryland WIC Program has a new Authorized Foods List.
