Maryland Hospital Breastfeeding Resources
Physician Webinar Series
– This series of six recorded lectures, by physicians for physicians and other practitioners, contains insight on important strategies and practices related to promoting and supporting breastfeeding. Continuing Medical Education credits are available at no charge through June 2019.
Maternity Staff Training Modules
– This series of 15 training modules can be covered in a group-setting or used in a self-paced, individualized learning approach to provide maternity staff with the training and expertise needed to meet the Baby Friendly USA and Maryland Department of Health Hospital Breastfeeding Policy Recommendations training requirements.
Technical Assistance Calls
– The
Maryland Hospital Breastfeeding Policy Committee
offers technical assistance conference calls to help hospitals with implementation of the Maryland Breastfeeding Policy Recommendations and Baby Friendly Ten Steps.
