LICENSE RENEWAL PORTAL OPENS SUNDAY, MARCH 1, 2026 for EVEN NUMBERED LICENSES ONLY
- License numbers are located next to the license expiration date. If the license number ends in an even number - RENEW!
- Renewal applications and payments must be submitted electronically ONLY.
- Deadline to submit: Sunday, May 31, 2026. Late submission will not be accepted.
- Review Title 13; Term & Renewal of Licenses 13-311
- Qualifying Continuing Education (CE) hours are earned between June 1, 2024 - May 31, 2026. (CE hours earned between April 1, 2024 -May 31, 2024 will be accepted during this renewal only)
- CE hours earned after May 31, 2026 may not be accepted.
- Required CE hours: PT = 30 hours and PTA = 20 hours
- Review COMAR 10.38.08 Continuing Education Requirement (updated August 2025)
- License renewal fee: PT = $271 and PTA = $190
LICENSE REINSTATEMENT is available
- ONLY reinstate if your license has already expired.
- Reinstatement fee: PT = $400 and PTA $400

IMPLICIT BIAS & STRUCTUAL RACISIM TRAINING REQUIREMENT
The completion of Implicit Bias & Structural Racism training must be attested to by all licensed healthcare professionals in Maryland. If you have never completed the required training or if this is your first time renewing your license, visit the Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities (MHHD) to access to access approved training programs.
