Board News

1. At it's Board meeting on May 15, 2019, the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners voted to modify the Dry Needling Registry APPLICATION.
The modification removes the requirement for a third-party signature of the required supervised practical hours. The applicant will still have to submit the application under penalty of disciplinary sanctions, and the applicant bears the burden of establishing the accuracy of all of the information contained therein.

2. October 1, 2018 is the required date to
register for dry needling with the Board. Please ensure the accuracy and completeness of your submissions. Incomplete applications, and applications submitted AFTER September 15, 2018 will not be guaranteed to be reviewed prior to October 1st. Please plan accordingly.

3. The Maryland Board of Physicians is looking the fill the physical therapist position on the Athletic Trainer Advisory Committee. Please CLICK LINK.
