Maternal Mortality Review Team (MMRT)

​The Maternal Mortality Review Team (MMRT) is Maryland’s maternal mortality review group. This multidisciplinary team brings a wealth of perspectives and expertise to evaluate the preventability of pregnancy-associated deaths, and opportunities for prevention of future deaths.

All attendees are required to register for the meeting prior to attending using the links below. All MMRT meetings may be closed to discuss sensitive information related to the review.

​MMRT Retreat


The MMRT will host a retreat to discuss business, including how racism, discrimination, bias, and equity intersect with cases reviewed by the MMRT. This session will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 1:00-6:00 pm at the Robinson Nature Center (6692 Cedar Ln, Columbia, MD 21044). This meeting may be closed to the public.
