​The Protected Health Care Commission (Commission) was established through legislation​ ​in 2023. The purpose of the Commission is to make recommendations to the Maryland State Department of Health Secretary regarding sensitive health services that should be determined by the Secretary to be legally protected health care under Maryland Health-General Title 4, Subtitle 3.
