The Division provides laboratory services in detection of viral and certain bacterial etiologic agents afflicting humans.
The Division of Virology and Immunology performs assays for viral, bacterial, and rickettsial agents of disease including:
Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella Hepatitis A,B,C, and Pertussis Rabies and Zoonotic Diseases Sexually transmitted infections: Syphilis, Chlamydia trachomatis, HSV Influenza, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, RSV, Enterovirus Arbovirus: West Nile, Dengue Fever, Chikungunya Lyme, CMV, EBV, Toxoplasma, Ehrlichia, Leptospira
