Announcement: Changes Effective June 1, 2017
Maryland Law Test
• The Maryland Law Test will be administered by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) via computer as the Maryland Jurisprudence Exam at various Pearson VUE Testing Centers throughout Maryland.
Alcohol and Drug Certification Exams
• The certification exam used for the CSC-AD (Certified Supervised Counselor-Alcohol and Drug) and CAC-AD (Certified Associate Counselor-Alcohol and Drug) credential will transition from the ICRC (International Certification Reciprocity Consortium) exam to the NCACI and NCACII (National Certified Addiction Counselor, Level I, and National Certified Addictions Counselor Level II) exam, and will be administered by NAADAC (The Association for Addiction Professionals) via computer at various testing sites.
