Office of Regulation & Policy Coordination

What We Do:​

The Office of Regulation and Policy Coordination is responsible for managing the Department's:
  1. Regulatory Process; and
  2. Policy Process.

Regulations:

This office manages and coordinates all aspects of the process of adopting new, amending, or repealing regulations for the Maryland Department of Health (MDH).

The Department's regulatory process is governed by the:
  1. Administrative Procedure Act under State Government Article, Annotated Code of Maryland
  2. State Documents Law under State Government Article, Annotated Code of Maryland
  3. COMAR 10.01.07 Petitions for Adoption, Amendment or Repeal of Regulations
  4. MDH Policy 02.10.01 Policy For Regulations
  5. MDH Procedures 02.10.01.P1 - Procedures For Regulations
