The following is only a SUMMARY of public orders of formal disciplinary cases decided by the Board. Full copies of the orders may be requested in writing. Formal verification must be requested in writing from the Board, accompanied by a check for $50.00 per Order request:
LICENSE REINSTATEDLicense to practice podiatry was reinstated effective January 29, 2019, when Board order was signed by Dr. Schultheiss.
The License is on probation for ONE (1) year from the date of the Order being executed. The Prescribing Permits from DEA and Maryland, for CDS prescribing permits for Scheduled drugs, have NOT been reinstated at this time. At the time of completion of the Probationary period, Dr Schultheiss may apply to the Board for termination of Probation and reinstatement of his controlled substance prescribing permits, provided that he has met all the conditions of the Probation, and has not violated any of the provisions of the Maryland Podiatry Practice Act, and no charges have been issued against him. Contingent that all the provisions of the Order have been met and no further violations occurred, Dr Schultheiss may petition the Board for the termination of Probation and full reinstatement of his Maryland Podiatric Medicine license.
SURRENDER OF LICENSE
Voluntary surrender of license to practice podiatry in the State of Maryland in lieu of charges for violation of probation and revocation of license for failing to comply with the terms set forth in the Amended Consent Order of Probation entered by the Maryland State Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners (the "Board")
Surrender is for 90 days with terms and conditions for possible reinstatement of license.

Violation of H.O. 16-311 (17) and (20) of the Act. Respondent's employees, Maryland licensed podiatrists failed to maintain treatment records; performed out of scope procedures; and the Respondent's Spa advertised out of scope procedures.
Reprimanded; Additionally, Ordered to make anonymous donation of $15,000 to the APMA Foundation Scholarship Fund.
