E-cigarettes and vapes are the most commonly used tobacco products among youth. All tobacco products, including e-cigarettes and vapes, are not safe, especially for children, teens, and young adults.
There are many reasons youth might use e-cigarettes and vapes. Tobacco product marketing and advertising, appealing flavors, social influences, and the effects of nicotine all play a role in why youth start and/or continue to use.
Parents and educators can play an important role in helping youth stop using all tobacco products and ensure that they live healthy, tobacco-free lives.
