The Maryland Register:
OHCQ appreciates the input of all stakeholders in the promulgation process of regulations.
The Office of Health Care Quality (OHCQ) understands that there are some major key changes included in the new regulations and that the provider community will need some time to conduct staff training and develop necessary policies and procedures. Over the next 6 months, OHCQ must continue its survey mandates, but will be using discretion with enforcement activities related to the new regulations.
*PLEASE NOTE*: Formal Comment Period - Stakeholders should know that formal comments on proposed regulations must be submitted to: Jordan Fisher Blotter, JD | Director | Office of Regulation & Policy Coordination | 201 West Preston Street, Room 534 | Baltimore, MD 21201 | (410) 767-0938 | [email protected]. Formal comments should not be submitted to OHCQ.
