​The Division serves as an analytical support laboratory for various State Departments, agencies, and program offices such as the Environment, Natural Resources, General Services, Licensing and Regulations, Office of the Attorney General, Food Control, Drug Control, Oil Control, Hazardous Waste Enforcement, Water Quality Monitoring, Community Health Administration, and the State Highway Administration.  Laboratory testing service is also provided to each of the State's twenty-three County Health Departments, as well as the Baltimore City Health Department.
