The Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) maintains five offices across Maryland, including one Headquarters and four Regional Offices.​​ ​We also operate several specialist units to assist the public with specific requests. ​Most inquiries about services are best handled by the Regional Office for the county in which you reside.

Constituent Services

The Constituent Services Program provides an avenue to request information, assistance, or resolution of problems with the DDA service system or the DDA's contracted service providers.

Advocacy Support Unit

DDA's Advocacy Specialists are self-advocates. Advocating for ourselves and others, we can support people who receive DDA services to get the supports they want and need.

Report Abuse or Concern

If you see something, say something.


If you believe you are being abused – Tell someone – keep telling people until someone listens and helps you get out of that situation. If you witness or suspect abuse or neglect of any individual receiving services, you are required to report it.

Public Information Act (PIA) Requests

As part of Maryland's state government, DDA regularly responds to Public Information Act requests from people in services, caregivers, providers, journalists, and other stakeholders. The PIA Officer helps to coordinate PIA requests to ensure maximum transparency while protecting individual privacy.
