Veterans Crisis Line: Call 988 and press 1

The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a free national hotline offering one-on-one support 24/7 for Marylanders struggling with mental health, suicide, and substance use.

Veterans and their families are encouraged to:

Call or text the number 9-8-8 or chat online to connect with a trained, caring crisis counselor who provides support and information on local resources.

If you are a Veteran, active service member, or military family member, counselors trained in crisis intervention and military culture are available via 988.

This is a confidential, secure resource and individuals choose what personal information they wish to provide.
