Emergency Preparedness

The Emergency Preparedness division develops plans to help protect the health of Somerset County residents and visitors before, during, and after community emergencies.  Emergencies can include natural disasters, disease outbreaks, and man-made emergencies.​​

​The Maryland Responds Medical Reserve Corps is a way for citizens of Maryland to provide services during a disaster or emergency situtation.
