Maryland Public Health Strategy for Climate Change
Center_Content
WHAT IS MARYLAND'S PUBLIC HEALTH STRATEGY FOR CLIMATE CHANGE?
Provide tools, resources, and technical assistance for citizens, communities, non-governmental organizations, schools, local governments, planners, and State agencies to help them think about health and use health data as they develop climate change plans
Serve as a clearinghouse for State and local climate change projects that include health, and show the progress that these projects are making in protecting Marylanders from the health impacts of climate change
REDUCING MARYLAND'S CLIMATE CHANGE VULNERABILITY
The Public Health Strategy for Climate Change is part of the State's comprehensive strategy to reduce our vulnerability to a changing climate.
It is working through and with the
Climate Change Commission's
Adaptation and Response Working Group (ARWG) and the Education, Communication and Outreach (ECO) Working Group.
