If you wish to receive CEU credit for attendance at our Board meetings, please note the following requirements:
Your
name must be displayed clearly when you log in for the meeting.
Your
camera must be on throughout the meeting so we can verify your participation.
We
cannot award CEU credit if we cannot verify your identity or participation.
Please refer to the applicable regulation:
COMAR 10.29.05.05 states that attendees may receive continuing education units for meeting attendance, but eligibility and verification efforts are required.

Important Notice Regarding Alkaline Hydrolysis and Natural Organic Reduction
As of October 1, 2024, the Green Death Care Options Act, which includes alkaline hydrolysis and natural organic reduction, has been enacted in Maryland. However, these methods are currently not regulated in the state. The Maryland Board of Morticians and Funeral Directors along with other state agencies is actively drafting regulations to address these options.
