The Board has fully transitioned to electronic application submissions and online payments.
ALL applications and services are now available exclusively online. NO PAPER APPLICATIONS OR PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Effective immediately, any mailed applications, payments, or supporting documents received will NOT be processed, returned, or held.
Submitters will be notified via phone and/or email that materials will be destroyed for failure to follow Board procedures.
The Board thanks you for your cooperation as we streamline and secure our online process.

All fees submitted to the Maryland State Board of Morticians and Funeral Directors are final and non-refundable, including cases of applicant error, misunderstanding, or ineligibility.

If you wish to receive CEU credit for attendance at our Board meetings, please note the following requirements:
Your
name must be displayed clearly when you log in for the meeting.
Your
camera must be on throughout the meeting so we can verify your participation.
We
cannot award CEU credit if we cannot verify your identity or participation.
Please refer to the applicable regulation:
COMAR 10.29.05.05 states that attendees may receive continuing education units for meeting attendance, but eligibility and verification efforts are required.
