Eastern Shore Hospital Center Privacy & Accreditation Statement


PUBLIC NOTICE The Joint Commission (JC) conducts unannounced accreditation surveys to evaluate the Eastern Shore Hospital Center’s (Cambridge, MD) compliance with nationally established JC standards.  In order to promote continuous public involvement, this is to advise that while use of hospital staff, administrative mechanisms, or patient rights advisor to resolve patient safety and quality-of-care issues is encouraged, an individual may contact the JC with their concerns. No disciplinary action will be taken because an employee reports, in good faith, safety or quality-of-care concerns to JC. Anyone (patients, their families, advocates, staff, others) believing they have pertinent and valid information about such matters may contact the Joint Commission’s Office of Quality Monitoring by calling 1-800-994-6610, e-mailing, in writing to: Office of Quality Monitoring, The Joint Commission, One Renaissance Boulevard, Oakbrook Terrace, IL  60181, or by FAX 630-792-5636.
