​​Action Planning

​Participants will meet with their manager to discuss the content of the leadership courses and identify opportunities to apply content to any internal projects.  Participants will be asked to present action plan outcomes at the wrap-up session.
Book Club/Presentation
​Participants will receive a designated book selection to complete an assignment and possibly be organized in groups to create a group project. This element is subject to be modified based on virtual vs. in-person programs.
Class Sessions
​Participants will develop critical leadership skills through participation in concise courses, some facilitated by Training Services Division staff and others online. All sessions emphasize practicality over theory.
​Leadership Style Assessment (optional)
​Participants will complete a management style assessment and participate in a debriefing session designed to integrate information received.​
Midpoint Session
​Participants will receive program updates and be engaged in meaningful developmental activities.​
Program Orientation
​Participants will attend a welcome event to receive program resources and information as well as meet fellow participants.
Virtual Community Space
​Participants will be granted access to an online forum designed to boost engagement and collaboration among fellow participants around leadership competencies.
​Wrap-up Session
​Participants will present their action plan as a culminating activity applying content from the leadership courses and summarizing their program experience.
