The Wellness at Work Recognition Program acknowledges HMB members for demonstrating a deep commitment to workplace wellness. Recognized businesses have organizational support, use multiple strategies to address workplace wellness (programs, policies, benefits, environment), and use data to make their initiatives stronger.
The Wellness at Work Recognition Program is currently undergoing a transition at the Maryland Department of Health. The 2026 Healthiest Maryland Businesses Recognition Application will be available on or about July 6, 2026.

There are three levels of recognition:
