Pesticides in Maryland are regulated by the Maryland Department of Agriculture. 

​Maryland regulations (Code of Maryland Regulations 10.06.01) require that health care providers and hospitals submit a report of diagnosed or suspected cases of pesticide-related illness​ to the Commissioner of Health in Baltimore City or the health officer in the county where the provider cares for that person within 1 working day.
