To kick-off this year’s National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week, Green & Healthy Homes Initiative is partnering with Harford Heights Elementary School to host a special Read-Aloud event aimed at engaging students around the importance of healthy homes and safe environments on Monday, October 20th at 10:00am. The event features our Lead Safety Mascot, Derek the Dinosaur, who will assist with reading our special book on Lead Safety, followed by brief, interactive discussions focused on making safe choices at home and in their communities! All students will receive special goodies and a Derek the Dinosaur Coloring Book.
