Viral Hepatitis

Who We Are
​​​The Maryland Department of Health is responsible for collecting information about viral hepatitis in Maryland for the prevention of viral hepatitis and integration of viral hepatitis prevention services into health care settings and public health programs that serve priority populations. Viral hepatitis prevention services are integrated into programs addressing sexually transmitted infections (STI), HIV, immunizations, correctional health, substance abuse treatment, and syringe exchange.
