A Medicare Savings Program, also called a Medicare Buy-In Program, can help pay your Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Part B (Medical Insurance) premiums. If you qualify, the program might also pay your Part A and Part B deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments.
When you apply, we figure out which program you qualify for. The programs include:
To be eligible, your income and assets must be below the program’s limits. The best way to know if you are eligible is to apply.
You can apply in person or by mailing an application to your local department of social services. Visit the Department of Human Services to download the current application form.
