The Maryland Department of Health, Laboratories Administration is seeking informal comments and feedback from the publi​c on the proposed draft language to amend COMAR 10.10.13.15. The proposed draft seeks to reduce the retention period for newborn blood-spot cards from twenty-five years, as currently required, to one year for specimens not as​sociated with a confirmed disorder in COMAR 10.10.13.12.
