MDH Laboratories Administratio​​n Eastern Shore Regional Laboratory:

This Regional Public Health Laboratory (PHL) with 5 employees located on the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland in Wicomico County serves Kent, Queen Anne’s, Caroline, Talbot, Dorchester, Wicomico, Somerset, and Worcester County Health Departments at 11 clinic sites, Deer’s Head Hospital Center, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Salisbury University, Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Dept. of Agriculture, Planned Parenthood of Maryland, and various smaller clinical units as well as private physicians. A courier system connects all the county health departments with ESRL and the Central Laboratory in Baltimore daily.
