Consulting Dietetic Practice and Nutritionist Board Vacancies
Effective January 17, 2025, the Maryland Board of Dietetic Practice has Consulting Dietetic Practice and Certified Nutrition Specialist vacancies on the Board. Individuals interested in serving on the Board should apply via the Governor's Appointments Office (GAO) website:

The Board is required by law to notify all licensees of any vacancies. All Board of Dietetic Practice Members are appointed by the Governor and serve a four-year term, with eligibility for a second term. By law, the candidate must be a licensee who is a citizen of the United States, a resident of Maryland, and have practiced dietetics for at least 5 of the last 10 years.
The Board meets the third Thursday of every odd month (January, March, May, July, September, November) at 10:00 a.m. The meetings are virtual with an annual meeting at the Board Office, which is located at 4201 Patterson Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21215. The meetings last approximately 2 hours. In addition, hearings/meetings to resolve and investigate complaints are on an as needed basis. Committee Meetings are on an as needed basis.
