The Behavioral Health Administration’s Policy and Planning division oversees provider licensing and certification, compliance and monitoring for community behavioral health programs. This includes oversight of Local Behavioral Health Authorities, site visits, leading BHA’s State Strategic Plan as well as cultural and linguistic competency strategic planning. This division also oversees grants, co-manages t​he Administrative Services Organization contract with Maryland Medicaid and leads the Behavioral Health Equity Workgroup.​
