Office of Special Projects
The Office of Special Projects assists the Division Director with new initiatives, creation of RFAs for funding opportunities, and conducts duties of chief of staff for the Division. The Office works to set the platform for ongoing programs (i.e., Block Grant funded, Technical Assistance, etc.). The Office Director serves as HR liaison, submitting appropriate forms, contracts and hiring documents for all positions across the Division. The Director also operates the Performance, Planning and Evaluation Program (PEP) process for the division. The Coordinator of Special Special Projects assists with the Directors scheduling and follow up from meeting action items. The Coordinator also serves as primary contact with agencies outside of the BHA to coordinate and confirm accountability of ongoing projects. Such agencies include SAMHSA and the MDH Office of Constituent Services.
