BHA's Office of Planning

The Division of Planning is responsible for the development, implementation, and/or oversight of State, local, and federal behavioral health planning activities. 

Responsibilities include the development of State Behavioral Health Plans and federal Mental Health and Substance Abuse Block Grant applications, oversight of State behavioral health plan implementation, local behavioral health planning, Cultural and Linguistic Competency Strategic Plan (CLCSP), and MDH community bond program activities. This Division also provides staff support to the Maryland Behavioral Health Advisory Council

This Division also provides staff support to the Maryland Advisory Council on Mental Hygiene/PL 102-321 Planning Council.​
