Entering Your Workday Email Address

To change or update your email in the Department of Budget and Management's (DBM) Statewide Personnel System (SPS), you can use the SPS Workday Self-Service features, as follows:

  1. Log in to Workday for Active Employees with your SPS Employee ID, which starts with a "W". 
  2. Click the Personal Information application on the Home page. 
  3. Click the Contact Information button. 
  4. Click the Edit button. 
  5. Scroll to:​
    • Work Contact Information section
    • Primary Email
  6. Click the Edit Icon (pencil)
  7. Enter the email, making sure that the spelling is correct. This should be your State-issued account. If you do not have a State-issued account, please enter another active account.
  8. Click Details. If your primary email is a State-issued account, set the visibility to PUBLIC.
  9. If your primary email is NOT State-issued, you may choose visibility to be PUBLIC or PRIVATE.
  10. Click Submit​​
