Policies

These policies are based on the Code of Maryland Annotated Regulations and apply to the following drugs:

• All prescriptions for Fee-for-service Medicaid recipients
• All prescriptions for Fee for service HealthChoice recipients (prior to enrollment in a Managed Care Organization)
• Behavioral health drugs and antiretroviral drugs for HealthChoice recipients after they enroll in an MCO​​​​
• Maintenance Drugs
• Emergency Supply of Drugs
• Refills
• Dosage Optimization Limitations for Mental Health Medications
