Medicaid Newborn Enrollment Portal
The Medicaid Newborn Enrollment Portal is a new web-based application where authorized local health department staff can search for and view deemed newborn applications on its dashboard.
A deemed newborn is automatically eligible for Medicaid if on their date of birth their mother was eligible for and received Medicaid covered services. Only authorized staff can use the Newborn Portal to create an application and enroll a deemed newborn into
Medicaid.
