These growth charts consist of a series of percentile curves that illustrate the distribution of select body measurements in U.S. children. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend that providers use the following to monitor growth:
- the World Health Organization growth charts for all children from birth up to 20 years of age;
- the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention growth charts for children and teens aged 2 through 20 years of age.
