WMHC Citizens Advisory Board

The Citizens Advisory Board performs in an advisory, advocacy, and community relations capacity, providing support for the Center's programs, and making recommendations for the improvement of its operations by and through the Chief Executive Officer of the Center.​​

Membership

Members of the Citizens' Advisory Board are appointed by the governor. Criteria for membership include:

  • Member must be a citizen of the State of Maryland
  • Member must be a resident of a county served by the Center
  • Member must be representative of the community
  • Member must be known for an interest in civic and public affairs and for concern about the care of chronically ill individuals
