You may need additional documentation, including a certified copy of a birth certificate, to renew your Maryland Driver's License or Identification Card due to the Federal Real ID Act. The Vital Statistics Administration publishes the requirements for obtaining a certified copy of a birth certificate.

Respiratory viruses commonly cause illness such as Flu, COVID-19, and RSV (respiratory syncytial virus), especially in the Fall and Winter. There are actions you can take to protect yourself and others. Learn about how to reduce your risk of getting sick from these viruses, and if they are spreading in your community.

At home COVID-19 Test Kits are available to the public from the health department during regular business hours (M-F, 8am-430pm). Businesses and organizations interested in distributing a supply of test kits to their staff and ot​hers are encouraged to contact the Emergency Preparedness office at the health department.

Many manufacturers have extended the expiration dates of the at home COVID-19 test kits.  Please check the link below to find the extended expiration date.
