​Congratulations to our former OP&R ​Director Sherry Adams, former Lead Epidemiologist Jennifer Stanley and Epidemiology Field Assignee​ Jessica Acharya for the long awaited online publication of the article, “The Surveillance of Nonfatal and Fatal Drug Overdoses: Best Practices, Innovations, and Lessons Learned.” It includes a guest editorial on opioid overdose surveillance and 11 articles that highlight the importance of timely, comprehensive local data to inform real-time public health responses to address the opioid overdose epidemic.
