Overview:

Module #2 covers listening and learning skills and strategies for effectively communicating with mothers and families about breastfeeding. It prepares practitioners to arrange follow-up and support that is suitable to the mother’s situation.

Objectives:

Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively about breastfeeding
Learn effective communication techniques and standards of effective communication
Identify follow-up breastfeeding resources are available to mothers upon discharge

Content:

Be sure to complete the pre-test prior to watching the module and the post-test after completion to document that you have completed the training.
