The Center for Cancer Prevention and Control directs and/or funds three Colorectal Cancer (CRC) Screening Programs. The aim of the programs is to provide early detection of colorectal cancer by increasing the number of Maryland adults screened and to prevent CRC through polypectomy. The overall goal of these programs is to reduce the incidence and mortality of colorectal cancer in Maryland and to decrease racial and ethnic disparities. The CRC Screening Procgrams include:
